Today you’re going to make a delicious cake in 25 minutes with no oven!
- 12 oz. chocolate cookies (just a whole bunch of normal cookies, no stuffing or glaze needed here)
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 8 oz. cottage cheese
- 4 oz. sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated gelatin
- 1/3 cup water.
- Tiny chocolate bar
Making the cake:
Make your cream first. Put a tablespoon of gelatin in a bowl and add water. Let it swell for a few minutes.
Put the gelatin in a pot and let it heat on a stove. It will dissolve very quickly, after which you can put it aside.
Beat the sour cream with the cottage cheese and sugar in a blender. You should get a soft cream.
Pour the dissolved gelatin into the cream and mix thoroughly.
Now on to the cake. Put the cookies into the mold, and pour in your cream.
Repeat the process three times.
Cover the cake with plastic wrap and leave to soak overnight.
The cream will soak the cookies inside and out, and the resulting cake will turn out very tender and juicy. Grate a chocolate bar on top of it for decoration and some added deliciousness.
You can also decorate the cake with mint leaves or powdered sugar. You can also “invert” the recipe: add cocoa powder into the cream mix, and use light cookies instead of chocolate cookies.
