While it’s raining outside, I am looking forward to the warm summer, to the colorful outfits and to be able to wear these blue necklaces with fringes. And for those who do not like it quite as colorful: The chain looks good in dark brown or black as well.
Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need
- Long fringes (in my case a fringed curtain)
- Jewelry chain
- Scissors
- Sewing kit
DIY Tutorial: The Step-by-Step Craft Instructions
DIY Step 1
Cut the fringes on the desired length and width (and, if you also use a curtain in the tutorial, cut off the loops as well).
DIY Step 2
Instead of the chain closure, I used a long fringe thread, which I’ve taken twice, and pulled it through the chain links.
DIY Step 3
Sew the fringes on the jewelry chain. DONE!
