Dessert to Die For

Its soft, yet crunchy, yet fall apart the moment you bite down all at once, with elegant dessert and cotton candy undertones seeping through. Anyone who’s tried to make merengue on their own sighs at the mention or recollection of the long and difficult process. Not anymore. Here is a five minute solution that will make things five times easier in the kitchen, without losing any of that merengue goodness you so love.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Crack an egg onto a plate and use a small cup to separate the yoke from the white.
  2. Beat the egg white into the powdered sugar for several minutes.
  3. Separate the resulting mass into several lumps and microwave on a paper towel for two minutes.
