DIY Tutorial: Jewelry from Recycle

After a few stressful and busy days I am back again with a new, very easy DIY tutorial. I was asked a few days ago, what can be done with cut out “draw-string tapes” and was first very surprised and happy that I’m not the only one who picks up these tapes

.

After a brief consideration, I had the idea to accouter a simple chain with the draw-string tapes. Anyone who does not have the “draw-string tapes collecting tick”, can use normal satin ribbons or fabric scraps for the same purpose.

Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need

  • draw-string tapes or satin ribbons or fabric remnants in different colors
  • disks or rings in different sizes. You can, for example, cut out the rings of thick cardboard.
  • glue
  • scissors
  • necklace
  • connecting rings

DIY Tutorial: The Step-By-Step Craft Instructions

DIY Step 1

Put a little dab of glue on the ring (or disc) and fix the top of the tape on it.

DIY Step 2

Now wind the tape around the disk or the ring and fix the end with some glue again. Cutaway the lap leftovers with scissors.

DIY Step 3

Finally, hang the “newly clothed” rings (or discs) with connecting rings on the chain. DONE!
