The idea for the zipper chain I’ve got (please hold on now!) from the carpet dealer, who fabricated the red carpet for the wedding couple from Monaco (Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert). He wore a similar chain at one of his many “wedding” interviews.
I guess the original chain is designed by Marc Jacobs, anyway, my zipper necklace comes from a broken boot ;).

DIY Step 1 Detach Zipper
Detach the zipper.
DIY Schritt 2 Thread Jewelry Chain
Thread the jewelry chain from the bottom into the zipper.
DIY Schritt 3 Secure Zipper With Eyelet Ring
To prevent the zipper from detaching off the chain, secure it with an eyelet ring just above the slide fastener. If desired, glue a few more rhinestones on the zipper. DONE!
