As the temperatures here at Austria have leveled down to the “North Pole Standards” and therefore I do not like to scarecrow out my husband at minus 10 degrees to take pictures, here is now a “DIY advent calendar leftover special”. The fact is that some of my tutorials go wrong and so I often go on the safe side and try out different variations.
If both of the similar tutorials get successful, one of the DIY instructions will be left unpublished. This happened to hair jewelry that was tinkered with this headband from advent calendar door Number 23.

Now we craft a rose from lace. Lay together the strips to a width of 2 cm and turn them loose in a circle. After each round saves the rose with a little dab of glue to the edges. Then fix the flower with pins.
DIY Step 4
Pull the pin out, coat the back of the rose with some hot glue and stick it on the feathers. Let it dry for a short time.
DIY Step 5

DIY Step 7
Put some glue on the circle center of the finished feather-jewelry and firmly press the headband on it and let it dry. Then apply the second felt circle and glue it over the hairband and over the first circle. DONE!
