After yesterday’s somehow complex fashion DIY post, today here is a very easy tutorial I am personally very excited about. It takes just five minutes to craft a beautiful classy ring with decorative buttons.
Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need
- Some thin craft felt (1 mm)
- Decorative buttons
- Craft glue or even better a hot glue gun, as I have used in this DIY tutorial.
- Ring, here at eBay 10 rings for 1 euro (the retailer I do not know though)
- Jewelry pliers
DIY Tutorial: The Step-By-Step Craft Instructions
DIY Step 1
Remove the sewing eyelets on the back of the buttons with the jewelry pliers, otherwise, the ring gets too high.
DIY Step 2
Coat a proper amount of adhesive to the center of the felt and loosely fix the buttons (do not press hard!) on it. Allow drying.
DIY Step 3
Cut off the excess felt. To add more excitement to the ring, make the cuts by light, irregular curves.
DIY Step 4
Generously apply glue to the entire ring surface …
DIY Step 5
… and glue together the two components. DONE!
