Behind the fourth door, today is hiding a pretty leather flower ring. As promised, whenever possible, you will find in my DIY posts the sources, where you can get the “ingredients” for the DIY projects. If I can not get my utensils at my local “Craft Paradise”, I order them online at Buttinette or Amazon. With these two stores, I have made good experiences.
Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need
- Flower template (download)
- Scissors
- A small piece of Nappa leather imitation
- Bead 6mm
and bead cap
- Needle and thread
- Marker
- Rubber band (13 mm)
DIY Tutorial: The Step-By-Step Craft Instructions
DIY Step 1
Print the flower template, cut it out and trace it four times on the leather.
DIY Step 2
Cut out the leather flowers.
DIY Step 3
Fold the flowers twice, so they become a quarter circle. Fix the folded flower with needle and thread.
DIY Step 4
The other three flowers are folded and sewn together in the same way as in the picture.
DIY Step 5
Put the bead in the cap, and sew it in the middle of the flower.
DIY Step 6
Cut the rubber band to the desired length including about one centimeter seam allowance.
DIY Step 7
Sew the rubber band on the flower. DONE!
