Exterior Wall Graffiti Using DIY Moss Paint

Decorating external walls isn’t a simple task. Besides inspiration, it usually requires expensive materials and a lot of labor hours. However, there is a simple and amazingly clever solution to make walls of brick and stone friendlier. Try this on garage walls for starters and watch how they will liven up. Literally!

Materials & Tools For The Moss Graffiti Paint:

  • 3 cups of moss
  • 2 cups of kefir or plain yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar or corn syrup
  • Water or beer 
  • Blender
  • Brush
  • Bucket

All the ingredients are easy to find and cost almost nothing.

Moss can be store bought or collected in a garden.

Collected moss need to be well rinsed with water to get rid of all soil. After washing, break the green mass into small pieces and place in a blender.

Now to creating a paint-like mixture by blending all the ingredients together.

When the MOSS GRAFFITY PAINT is ready, simply transfer it to a bucket and apply with a paintbrush on walls.

All you need to do now is to keep graffiti moist using spray bottle. Have patience! Soon enough, depending on your climate, happy greens will start growing.
