DIY Jewelry – Bracelet From Washers And Satin Ribbon

For this bracelet tutorial, you have to plunder the toolbox from your boyfriend (or husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, neighbor, washing machines mechanic … ). To be absolutely sure to get your necessary material, wait for the finals of the Soccer WC. Then your male half will probably not be accessible anyway and he will not notice the absence of some small little things.

Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need

  1. Washers or shims (perhaps in different sizes)
  2. Satin ribbon

DIY Tutorial: The Step-By-Step Craft Instructions

DIY Step 1

Cut approximately 60 centimeters (24 inches) from the satin ribbon and fold it double.

DIY Step 2

Make a node with a loop about 1 cm (0.4 inches) in size.

DIY Step 3

Push the first washer toward the node and pull the ends of the ribbon between the two bands.

DIY Step 4

Thread the second washer on the band and pull the strap through the first washer and the two bands. So it goes on until your bracelet gets the desired length. For the middle of my bracelet, I have taken a couple of slightly larger wheels to get a beautiful and more eye-catching appearance of the bracelet.

DIY Step 5

If you have reached the desired length, you pull the satin ribbon through the last washer and tie it with a node at the end (as in the picture).

DIY Step 6

To fix the bracelet on your wrist, you pull the two satin ribbons through the loop …

DIY Step 7

… then surround the loop with one band and make a knot. DONE!
