I have a friend who never wears black. But one day she needed a black dress and rather than borrow one, she bought extra for this one need a cheap dress. The wool dress ended up (thankfully!) to me and I could keep it.
And because I already have enough black clothes, this was spiced up a bit. The idea comes from a Fornarina-wool sweater of last year, which unfortunately at Asos I could not get in my size.
Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need
- A wool dress or sweater
- Wool needle
- Wool
- Marker
DIY Tutorial: The Step-By-Step Craft Instructions
DIY Step 1
With the marker draw your pattern on the dress, do not press too hard.
DIY Step 2
Thread the wool needle.
DIY Step 3
Embroider with the wool the pre-drawn patterns. To give the embroidered “chain” a realistic look, I have also stitched three large pendants (hearts, clubs, flower).
Here you see the large chain only. You can either leave it or embroider a further chain (like mine, which is a little bit smaller).
