Recently Ayse asked me to present a DIY idea for the storage of rings. I had some ideas in mind, however, most turned out to be useless before their practical application. This DIY storage for rings, however, got functional and is worth being “presented”. Often the easiest (and cheapest!) ideas are the best.
Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need
- Sponges with a medium-hard surface (do not take sponges with a very rough surface as they may scratch the rings!)
- Marker
- Cuter (or a small pair of scissors)
- Ruler
DIY Tutorial: The Step-By-Step Craft Instructions
DIY Step 1
Mark with a pen and a ruler about 1.5 cm ( 0.6 inches) wide incisions on the sponge.
DIY Step 2
Make deep cuts with scissors or the cuter tool.
DIY Step 3
Place in the rings. Take care the rings really stuck deep in the sponge, otherwise, they may fall out. DONE!
DIY Tutorial – Final Result “Storage for Rings”
The finished ring storage you can now stick together and either hang or store in a beautiful jewelry box (eg made of a shoebox).
