The other day when I dug in my feather-box for the “Necklace à la Lanvin”, these pretty feathers of a guinea fowl came to light, which I’ve bought sometime before and nearly forgot them in my box. At that time I wanted to craft something from it fitting to my royal-blue dress.

While I was brooding on the crafting of the “Necklace à la Lanvin”, the guinea fowl and turkey feathers (along the way) turned into an earring during a fifteen minutes lasting crafting. I have therefore made the only one because I suggest two of such great and long earrings are a bit “too much”. Material And Tools – For This DIY Project You Need

  1. Guinea fowl feathers  and turkey feathers
  2. Bead tips
  3. 2 chain links
  4. 2 ear hooks
  5. Jewelry pliers
  6. Jewelry chain (gracefully built)

DIY Tutorial: The Step-By-Step Craft Instructions

DIY Step 1

Cut the jewelry chain with pliers in several different length pieces.

DIY Step 2

Now attach a bead tip at every single feather.

DIY Step 3

Fix the jewelry chains to the single feathers. Two feathers I left without chains to attach them directly to the ear hook.

DIY Step 4

Attach all feathers and feather chains to the chain link.

DIY Step 5

Attach the ear hooks. DONE!
